VODAFONE

• Vodafone occupied 45k sqm, the totality of a business centre in Fuencarral, Madrid. (Calle de Isabel Colbrand, 22, 28050 Madrid, Spain). A number of contractors, among them Huawey, were using Vodafone space, as interns.

• Given that the budget for Real Estate occupation was on FM, users were not affected by the inneficiencies of its use. I suggested to transfer the ownership of the budget to each department, whilst FM would administer the opex.

• As a result, we could release 7500 sqm of office buildings, 13k sqm of warehouse and refurbished the back office of numerous shops, allowing for regional offices to be closed.

• We saved more than £6m per annum.
